Internal documentation
How the site works — one guide per system.
These pages walk through every content system on seminoletheatre.org: the event calendar, the featured posts, the show-run landing pages, and the homepage slider. Each guide is written for the operations team with the admin browser open — precise fields, exact specs, no fluff.

Editing Events
The complete field-by-field walkthrough for creating and editing events on the calendar — from the show name to the Tixr URL to the Google search snippet.
Featured Posts
Creating regular posts that appear on the homepage’s Featured Shows section — the custom hub metabox, layout options, and the automatic behaviors playbill posts get for free.
Show Runs
The custom system for multi-night productions — one poster, one synopsis, one dates grid with a Buy Tickets button per performance. Auto Event Ended detection.
Slider Revolution
The homepage rotating hero — swapping images, updating headlines, adding a slide for a new show, removing slides for closed runs. Image specs and Cloudflare cache purge.
Image Standards
Aesthetics, speed, and consistency for every image on the site — slider hero, event posters, show landing pages, playbill covers, inline photos. Specs, compression, alt text.
Google Business Profile
Creating and managing your GBP — the panel that shows up in Google Search and Maps. Verification, first-time setup, ongoing management, and how this site’s automation ties in.
GBP Auto-Post Feature
How the site pushes to Google Business Profile — editing hours & description from wp-admin, opt-in event auto-posts with title+description fields, the weekly digest, and how updates/unpublishes sync to GBP.
Writing Event Descriptions
The writing companion to the Editing Events guide — the four-paragraph template, the field-by-field walkthrough, three worked examples, and the checklist that makes an event description AI-Overview-friendly, screen-reader-friendly, and audience-friendly.
Guide Conventions
- Every guide reads top to bottom, with a numbered sequence that mirrors the actual admin workflow.
- Fields tagged REQUIRED are ones without which the feature won’t work — always fill them.
- Sidebar TOCs let you jump directly to the section you need — bookmark deep-links if you use one guide often.
- Guides can be printed cleanly from your browser if you prefer a paper reference.
- These pages are marked noindex — search engines skip them, so they don’t appear in public Google results.
