We want every visit to the Seminole Theatre to be enjoyable, comfortable and safe. Use these frequently asked questions to plan your arrival, learn about venue services and review important policies before your performance.

Arrival and Food
For most performances, the lobby and café/bar open one hour before the time printed on your ticket. Auditorium doors typically open 30 minutes before the performance. Times may vary by event, so check your event information or call the Box Office at 786-650-2073 if you need confirmation.
The Seminole Theatre offers a café and bar with snacks and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages before and during many performances. Availability and service times may vary by event. The Theatre does not provide full-service dining; visit the Where to Eat page for nearby restaurant ideas.
No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Seminole Theatre.
Accessibility
Yes. The Seminole Theatre provides accessible seating, entrances and restrooms. To arrange accessible seating or ask questions about mobility access, contact the Box Office at 786-650-2073 or [email protected].
Contact the Theatre as early as possible and at least five days before the event when requesting accessible-format materials, a sign-language interpreter or another accommodation for a Theatre-sponsored program or meeting. Call 786-650-2073, email [email protected], or dial 711 for the Florida Relay Service.
Yes. Assistive listening devices are available at applicable performances. Ask a staff member for a receiver when you arrive. Patrons may also bring their own earphones to use with the devices. Availability can depend on whether the performance uses the Theatre’s sound system.
Accessible parking spaces are limited and may be reserved in front of the Theatre by calling 786-650-2073 in advance. The front entrance may also be used as a drop-off and pick-up area for performances.
Venue Policies
No. Firearms and other weapons are not permitted in the venue or in public spaces owned or operated by the Seminole Theatre.
No. Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the Seminole Theatre, including the auditorium, classrooms, meeting rooms, lobby, elevators, hallways and restrooms.
Backpacks, purses and other personal bags are permitted unless an event-specific rule states otherwise. All bags and personal items, regardless of size, are subject to search before entry.
Tickets, Refunds and Weather
No. In addition to our own productions, the Seminole Theatre acts as a rental venue for outside groups and promoters. When a show is presented by an outside group, the production values, views and opinions do not necessarily reflect those of the Seminole Theatre. Each event page shows a notice indicating whether the show is a Seminole Theatre production or a rental so you’ll see the correct terms before purchasing tickets.
All ticket sales are final, and refunds or exchanges are generally not available except when an event is cancelled. Every ticket order carries a transaction fee, and lap-seat tickets are available for select performances; all patrons regardless of age must have a ticket. If a show is a rental / outside production, the same refund policy applies but the Seminole Theatre does not produce the event — see the notice on the specific event page. Visit the Box Office page or call 786-650-2073 with questions about a particular order.
If a performance is postponed or rescheduled, patrons may receive the options announced by the Theatre, which may include retaining their tickets for the new date or requesting a refund. Tickets for the original date will be honored on the rescheduled date unless the Theatre states otherwise. If a performance is cancelled, refunds will be issued through the original point of purchase.
If a performance proceeds despite poor weather, the Theatre is not required to provide a refund. If the performance is postponed or cancelled, the Theatre will make every effort to notify ticket holders and explain the available ticket options. Check the event page and Theatre communications before travelling.
Parking and Directions
Street parking is available throughout historic Downtown Homestead. Additional options within walking distance include:
- The public park-and-ride lot near S Flagler Avenue and Mowry Drive.
- The public lot at Homestead City Hall, on Washington Avenue south of SW 2nd Street.
- The Homestead Station parking garage at 4 S Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030.
Parking availability, access and rates may change. Follow posted signs and do not park in private lots belonging to nearby businesses, where unauthorized vehicles may be towed.
Yes. The front entrance of the Seminole Theatre may be used as a drop-off and pick-up area for performances. Please follow staff instructions and posted traffic restrictions when events are busy.
The Seminole Theatre is located at 18 N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030.
From Miami and points north, common approaches include Florida’s Turnpike, US 1 and SR 997/Krome Avenue. From the Florida Keys and points south, take US 1 north toward Homestead; Palm Drive/SW 344th Street connects to Krome Avenue. Road construction and closures can change, so use live navigation before travelling.
