The Seminole Theatre Players have got off to an amazing start, setting record attendance numbers at the Seminole Theatre with productions like Hairspray, In the Heights and Annie.  The Seminole Theatre Players (STP for short) is an organization that was born out of community involvement.  Now the organization is growing and planning to do more shows year-round.  We need your help to make this a reality!

Have you wanted to get more involved but not sure how?  This is your opportunity to learn more.  You will meet the current leadership of STP, what the plans are, and how you can get involved.  We are looking for people like:

- Performers: Actors, Dancers & Singers

- Staff: Directors, Music Directors, Choreographers, Designers, Teachers

- Backstage: Costumes, Makeup, Set Building, Painting, Stage Management, Tech and more

- Administrative: Grants, Marketing, Finance, Management

- Anything else - if your question is "Could you use someone who..." the answer is YES

No prior experience is necessary to join the Players.  Whether you have been doing theater all your life or just thinking about giving it a shot, we would like to see you at the open house.

The event will run from 6:00-8:00pm.  Drop in any time.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
