On Monday, February 26, the Seminole Theatre will open its doors to the public for a Gallery Night at the Seminole. From 5:30-7:30 pm, guests are welcome to browse the artwork on display, meet the featured artist, and enjoy wine and cheese.

This exhibit is an eclectic collection of views and perspectives from the members of the South
Florida National Parks Camera Club of the many of South Florida's natural environments; from
the Pinewood Forests to the Gulf Stream waters, from the flowing grasses of the Everglades to
the southern terminus of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, this land [South Florida
National Parks], as they say, was made for you and me.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
