Don't miss your opportunity to be part of the largest live event in South Dade. STP is calling auditions for roles in the production of Jekyll and Hyde! We want to see YOU in a show! All experience levels are encouraged to audition.

There are two days of open calls - you only need to attend ONE day of open calls. Monday March 27, 7-10pm Tuesday March 28, 7-10pm Wed Mar 29, 7-10pm

Jekyll and Hyde show dates: Summer 2023

Actors of all races, genders, ethnicities and abilities are encouraged to audition.

Audition Tips & Guidelines for Open Calls

- Please prepare 16 bars, or approximately 30-45 seconds, of an upbeat song or ballad in your key. Choose a piece that you are comfortable with and one that shows off your strength. We will have an accompanist and sheet music is strongly encouraged.

- Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes (no sandals) as you will be asked to learn a short dance routine. Every auditioner will be required to sing AND dance or move. It is ok if you do not feel strong at both skills, there are parts for actors, singers and dancers, but we want the ability to evaluate what you do and how you learn.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
