Immerse yourself in the haunted escape room at the historic Seminole Theatre. Your experience will begin with a cocktail hour where the game master will prep you for your Journey. If you dare to move forward you and your friends will step into the mystery of the beloved actress Betty Bop.

What is the mystery?

Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the downtown’s historic Seminole Theatre! Here you will find a star commemorating the theatre’s beloved actress, Betty Bop, who mysteriously disappeared at the height of her career in 1921. Coincidentally or not, her understudy, Mala Melila, met her untimely death just one night later. Follow the clues and solve the mystery, just be sure not to stop at Betty’s old dressing room. After Betty’s death, strange things began to happen there, and several aspiring actors have gone missing without a trace! Can you uncover the mystery and reverse the curse, or will this be the last tour of your lives?

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
