    Join us at our end of camp performance! A fully immersive adventure that Camp Seminole has been working all summer to bring to you!

    As you arrive to the performance, you will be assigned a red, blue, or yellow ticket that will set you off on a unique journey.

    Audiences will begin their journey together in The Party where they will meet Alex and her family as they gather to celebrate Jaime’s birthday. Alex struggles to find her footing in a big family, and she ultimately decides to run off and join the circus.

    Red, blue and yellow ticket holders will venture off on separate experiences until they meet again Under the Big Top to watch hilarious clowns, impressive jugglers, a ring master with a trick or two up his sleeve, and finally Alex’s big debut as The Magnificent Alezondra.

    Join us for the Seminole Theatre Camp Open House! You will get a  tour of the facility and hear for yourself what the Seminole Theatre Summer Camp is all about. 

    Find out about our new scholarship opportunities, fun camp curriculum and all the new and exciting additions to our summer camp. Get all your questions answered and see why parents are raving about our Summer Camp!

    Kids will be invited to join our staff in creating a skit that will be presented to parents at the end of the Open House. Enjoy games and activities for the whole family!

    Scholarships are now available thanks to the generous donor support of the Friends of the Historic Seminole Theatre and with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Mayor, and the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners.

    Seminole Theatre Summer Camp Conservatory is committed to serving prospective campers, regardless of their personal financial status or ability to pay. Scholarships will be awarded on an at-need basis.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
