When do we decide that we had enough? We had enough of family members, husbands, wives, children, and the list could go on and on. We are tired of getting hurt and getting our heart broken by people who say they love us.  When do we reach our breaking point and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH? 

Time is precious. Time is valuable. “Time”, performed by Vessels of Gold, is almost upon us!

Through music, drama, dance and much more, your time will be well spent viewing this thoughtful and entertaining production, appropriate for all ages.“Time” is a creative work generated from High school students who are passionate about the arts.

Vessels of Gold will present a journey through time. It will reveal the value and the importance of time Through a well thought out entertaining combination of Song, Dance and repose.

The Vessels performance of “Time” will be a historic event as it will be the “First Full length Play/Musical Performance”  in the Seminole Theatre in downtown Homestead.

Battle of the Laughs comedy show is pleased to bring comedy to Homestead. Theywill showcase 15 of South Florida’s best comedians. Homestead Community Concerts is proud to present performances by our music scholarship winners. The top musicians 18 years of age and under in Miami-Dade county competed for five scholarship prizes. All five will be given at the showcase including the 1st prize “Carmen Seepersad Memorial Scholarship” award. Our past prize winners have been the recipients of local, state, and national distinctions. All VIP tickets include a dinner with the scholarship recipients after their performances where you’ll have a chance to ask them questions and get to know them better. Come out and support our incredible young artists!

Dinner will be on the Seminole Theatre Terrace after the performance. Food will be provided by Southern Hospitality Events and Catering and will include dinner is on the Seminole Theatre terrace after the show, and includes Baked Ziti, Chicken Parmesan, House Salad, and Fried Brownie.

Do you have what it takes?
Ginsberg Productions is calling auditions for roles in next seasons productions of “Hairspray” and “The Rocky Horror Show”. Auditions will be held in the Seminole Theatre Tuesday May 31 and Thursday June 2; auditions will go from 7:00 PM TO 9:00 PM.

Ginsberg Productions auditions are open to all interested persons, regardless of age, race, color or experience. All that is required is the desire to be involved in a production and the willingness to commit your time and effort to the project.

Rehearsals are typically 2 nights a week and Sunday afternoons for 6-8 weeks before production.

Ginsberg Productions makes a concerted effort to contact everyone who has auditioned to let them know if they are cast or not. This is done the week following auditions.

We hope you’ll audition. The director and staff wants you to join us.

Audition Guidelines

Prepare a one-minute comedic or one-minute dramatic monologue.

For Our Musical Auditions
• Anyone can audition. No show is pre-cast.
• All auditions are held at the Seminole Theatre.
• To audition you are asked to sing 32 bars of a song you have prepared. An accompanist will be provided to play for you. Please bring sheet music.
• You will be asked to learn a choreographed movement or dance routine even if you are not a dancer.
• You may be asked to read from the script. Scenes will be given to you to look over at that time.
• You will ask on site when to make callbacks. If you are not called back, you are still under consideration.
