Don’t miss your opportunity to be part of the largest live event in South Dade. STP is calling auditions for roles in the production of Mamma Mia! We want to see YOU in a show! All experience levels are encouraged to audition.
There are two days of open calls – you only need to attend ONE day of open calls. Monday March 21, 7-10pm Tuesday March 22, 7-10pm
Please RSVP for your audition slot, after open calls, you may be invited back for a callback.
Mamma Mia show dates: July 15 – 17 & July 22 – 24
Actors of all races, genders, ethnicities and abilities are encouraged to audition.
Audition Tips & Guidelines for Open Calls
– Please prepare 16 bars, or approximately 30-45 seconds, of an upbeat song or ballad in your key. Choose a piece that you are comfortable with and one that shows off your strength. We will have an accompanist and sheet music is strongly encouraged.
First time picking an audition song? Read this helpful article and feel free to contact us if you need help with sheet music – we’ve got lots of it!
– Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes (no sandals) as you will be asked to learn a short dance routine. Every auditioner will be required to sing AND dance or move. It is ok if you do not feel strong at both skills, there are parts for actors, singers and dancers, but we want the ability to evaluate what you do and how you learn.
