Troupe 8857 and 89687 present: “Queens” and “Antigone Now”! Two One Act plays, both retellings, and both marked by revenge and a desperate search for justice: “Queens” by Kristen Doherty, reframes the stories of the six wives of Henry VIII allowing the Queens to lead their own stories, and “Antigone Now” by Melissa Cooper, a modern version of the myth of Antigone, where a young girl seeks retribution after the death of her brother.
