On Monday, April 3, the Seminole Theatre will open its doors to the public for a Gallery Night at the Seminole. From 6:00-8:00pm, guests are welcome to browse the artwork on display, meet the featured artist, and enjoy wine and cheese.

The featured artist for February- March  2017 is is Robert L. Chaplin and Le Jardin School

Rober Chaplin considers the Everglades his photographic playground. His passion for the Everglades is infectious. More than a fine art photographer, he teaches nature photography and leads workshops in Everglades National Park, is a founding director of the South Florida National Parks Camera Club, a member of the South Florida National Parks Trust, and a director with the Everglades Association. Come and enjoy his new Polar Bear Exibit.

Le Jardin School is part of the e Jardin Community Center, Inc. is a nonprofit agency founded in 1987. Le Jardin has over 28 years of experience in providing childcare services to the southern regions of Miami-Dade County.Join us to admire the incredible art-work created by the talented children of the Le Jardin School.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
