GREASE gets a new look with electrifying spectacle\, breathtaking choreography\, and eye-popping performances. You’re “the one we want” to audition for this special event! Fall in love again with Danny\, Sandy\, the Pink Ladies\, and Burger Palace Boys\, aka the T Birds\, as they celebrate teen angst\, rebellion\, and first loves. Sing along with the beloved rock n’ roll score\, including “Greased Lightnin’\,” “You’re the one that I want\,” “Hopelessly Devoted” “We GoTogether\,” and more! Don’t let your summer days drift away; experience summer lovin’ with Seminole. \nFor the open-call audition please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical song in the style of the show. Accompaniment is strongly encouraged and we will provide a bluetooth speaker for you to pair with. If you can’t find an accompaniment online\, bring piano sheet music in case we are able to provide an accompanist\, although not guaranteed. We are an all-volunteer 501(c) (4) non-profit organization dedicated to offering scholarship opportunities to young ladies between the ages of 13- 25 years in the South Florida Community. When you purchase a ticket for our local pageant or make a donation in support of our Miss America local scholarship program\, you join the group of generous individuals who are investing in the lives of girls and young women right here in our local community. \nAs an example\, our Miss South Florida 2018\, Jessica Hargrave\, moved on to compete and place in Miss Florida 2018 Pageant learning several thousand dollars in scholarships in the process as well as networking with many outstanding young Florida women. \nDid you know that the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is the national social impact initiative for the Miss America Organization? Miss America candidates at the local\, state and national levels contribute tens of thousands of community service hours annually and have raised over $16 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Miss America scholarships since 2007.
