Befriending classmate\, Emmett\, and spunky hairdresser\, Paulette\, along the way\, Elle finds that books and looks aren’t mutually exclusive. The Jr. Players are open to all who wish to be involved. Auditions will be held on the first rehearsal day\, and parts will be assigned for the production. HOWEVER\, EVERY student is eligible for a $450 scholarship thanks to the Friends of the Historic Seminole Theatre\, simply by filling out a statement “What Theater Means to Me”. \nThere are additional scholarships provided by the Ocean Reef Foundation on a financial need-based basis. Storming around the stage with a fun-loving sense of flamboyance; part diva\, part soccer player\, killer vocalist\, fierce piano player\, all rock & roller.Rus’ painstaking attention to detail includes wearing gorgeous\, colorful & spectacular costumes (many actually worn by Elton) including his iconic boots\, glasses & jumpsuits from 1973\, as well as a sparkly Swarovski tuxedo from 1984. \nIt is clearly the most authentic Elton John tribute show in the world. \nThe Rocket Man Show is a regular feature across the USA at venues such as House of Blues\, Hard Rock Live\, Caesar’s\, Harrah’s\, Legends in The concert\, BB King’s\, Universal Studios & Walt Disney World. \nYou cannot go wrong with this much experience onstage at your venue. \nRus & his full band of merry crackerjack musicians are the very best in the business. The show is 100% live in both vocals & instrumentation. Absolutely no tracks or lip-syncing. The performance itself is an extremely sincere\, intense & visual spectacle of a journey. There are ballads & driving rock songs. Audiences laugh\, cry\, sing & dance as they recall the highs & lows of Elton’s epic career. \nIn summary\, the key to buying a ticket to go see a band is knowing how professional they’ll look\, act & perform when they arrive. Rus Anderson has been officially hired by Elton John himself to re-enact the most memorable moments of his career. How’s that for peace of mind? \nYou are OK with Rus\, Elton John thinks so too! \nWhat you see is what you get & that’s entertainment. \n \nTickets are also available at the Seminole Theatre box office\, 786-650-2073 or 18 N Krome Ave\, Homestead\, FL (Tues-Sat 12-6pm). \n \n<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/J53Xph5MFIE” frameborder=”0″ allow=”accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture” allowfullscreen></iframe> \n\n\nOrganizer: Music Works Concerts \n\n\n\nOpen Rocketman- Elton John Tribute at Eventbrite.com \n\n\n\n\nPlease note: This production\, meeting or event is not presented or produced by the Seminole Theatre\, Oak View Group or the City of Homestead.
