See The Godfather\, currently rated as the #3 film of all time by American Fim Institute\, back on on the big screen. \nIn 1972\, Paramount Pictures would test its patience with a group of unlikely artists at the helm of a production which would later become of the greatest cinematic achievements in history. The Godfather\, widely considered one of the greatest films ever made\, found an unlikely director in Francis Ford Coppola. The relatively unknown filmmaker famously struggled with his studio counterpart to cast the rebellious acting phenom\, Marlon Brando\, and juxtapose the brilliant thespian with then-unknown actor Al Pacino. The only person the studio didn’t combat Coppola on was renowned cinematographer Gordon Willis\, who originally rejected offers to shoot the film after claiming the production seemed “chaotic.” Thankfully\, Coppola changed his mind.
