DESCRIPTION:Audition for the The Hunchback of Notre Dame! \n  \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDon’t miss your opportunity to be part of the largest live event in South Dade. STP is calling auditions for roles in the productions of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! We want to see YOU in a show! All experience levels are encouraged to audition. \n  \n There are three days of open calls – you only need to attend ONE day of open calls. \nMonday Aug 16\, 7-10pmTuesday Aug 17\, 7-10pmWed Aug 18\, 7-10pm \n Please RSVP for your audition slot\, after open calls\, you may be invited back for a callback. \nThe Hunchback of Notre Dame show dates: November 12-14 2021 & November 19-21 2021  \n\nAll roles are open. Actors of all races\, genders\, ethnicities and abilities are encouraged to audition. \nAudition Tips & Guidelines for Open Calls\n– Please prepare 16 bars\, or approximately 30-45 seconds\, of an upbeat song or ballad in your key. Choose a piece that you are comfortable with and one that shows off your strength. We will have an accompanist and sheet music is strongly encouraged. First time picking an audition song?  Read this helpful article  and feel free to contact us if you need help with sheet music – we’ve got lots of it! \n– Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes (no sandals) as you will be asked to learn a short dance routine. \nEvery auditioner will be required to sing AND dance or move. Quasimodo\, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be & Out There\, observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker\, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo\, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd\, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy\, Esmeralda.  \nQuasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit\, though – the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention\, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies – and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.  \nAll roles are available.
