Krome Avenue\, Homestead\, FL\, US \n \nJoin us on Thursday\, August 12th  at the Seminole Theatre where there will be a the public Gallery Night at 6:00 pm\, guests are welcome to browse the artwork on display\, meet the featured artist\, and enjoy light Hors d’œuvres. \nMeet the Artist: Mildred “Mimi” Meyerson \n“My passion has always been art. Drawing on the sidewalk in front of my home as a small child and painting watercolors on the side of our home got me in lots of trouble! Frustrated\, my mother sent me to Saturday art class at “Lowe Art Gallery”-UofM. I attended University of Miami and graduated Bachelor of Art Education. One of my greatest teachers was Eugene Massin who’s painting are hanging at Hard Rock Dolphin Stadium. I was an art teacher for 34 years with Miami-Dade County schools before retiring as Teacher of the Year at my school. I love color! Painting nature\, fantasy and animals are my special interest.
