DESCRIPTION:Come audition for the summer season of AIDA and The Little Mermaid\nMarch 11-13\, 2019 7:00-10:00pm\nSeminole Theatre\n18 North Krome Avenue\, Homestead\, FL\, US\n  \n\n\n\n \nThe SEMINOLE THEATRE PLAYERS announces their 2019 summer season!  Don’t miss your opportunity to be part of the largest live event in South Dade.  STP is calling auditions for roles in the productions of Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Elton John & Tim Rice’s Aida and we want to see YOU in a show! All experience levels are encouraged to audition.  These are joint auditions for both shows. Choose a piece that you are comfortable with and one that shows off your strength. We will have an accompanist and sheet music is strongly encouraged. First time picking an audition song? Read this helpful article and feel free to contact us if you need help with sheet music – we’ve got lots of it! \n– Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes (no sandals) as you will be asked to learn a short dance routine. \nEvery auditioner will be required to sing AND dance or move. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner\, Alan Menken\, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright\, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs\, including “Under the Sea\,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.” \n\n\nAriel\, King Triton’s youngest daughter\, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above\, bargaining with the evil sea witch\, Ursula\, to trade her tail for legs.
