A Showcase of Musical Growth

Every performer has a story, and every song is a chance to tell it.

Throughout this recital, students will present selections that reflect their personalities, interests, and musical journeys. Audiences can look forward to an engaging variety of performances, including beloved Disney favorites, timeless classics, and contemporary songs that celebrate imagination, perseverance, and self-expression.

For many participants, this marks their very first appearance on the Seminole Theatre stage. For others, it represents another milestone in their continuing artistic journey. Regardless of experience level, each performer brings enthusiasm, courage, and individuality to the stage, creating an evening filled with memorable moments and heartfelt performances.

More Than a Recital

Once Upon a Song is much more than a recital—it’s a celebration of dedication, learning, and community.

Over the course of five weeks, students have worked closely with voice instructors to strengthen their vocal abilities while learning the skills that help performers succeed on stage. Lessons have focused not only on singing, but also on confidence, stage presence, performance techniques, and connecting emotionally with an audience.

The result is an evening that highlights personal achievement just as much as musical talent. Every performance reflects hours of practice, encouragement, and determination, making each song a meaningful accomplishment for the students and a rewarding experience for those cheering them on.

A Program That Builds Confidence

Seminole Theatre’s Voice Classes are designed to help students discover their unique voices in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Working in small class settings, participants receive individualized instruction that emphasizes healthy vocal technique, musical interpretation, and performance confidence. The program encourages students to challenge themselves while enjoying the process of learning and growing alongside fellow performers.

Once Upon a Song serves as the culmination of that journey, giving every student the opportunity to perform before a live audience and experience the excitement of sharing music with others.
