Ian Melgarejo is an interdisciplinary collage artist that has lived and worked in Homestead, Florida for the past 13 years. He has also worked in other mediums such as photography,printmaking, painting, sculpture and more.

Artist in the Spotlight- Gallery Night presents: Ian Melgarejo 

On Thursday, August 29th, the Seminole Theatre will open its doors to the public for a Gallery Night at the Seminole. Starting at 6:00 pm, guests are welcome to browse the artwork on display, meet the featured artist, and enjoy light Hors d’œuvres.

Ian Melgarejo is an interdisciplinary collage artist that has lived and worked in Homestead, Florida for the past 13 years. He has also worked in other mediums such as photography,printmaking, painting, sculpture and more. In 2016 he graduated from New World School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a focus in photography. He began experimenting with collage in 2015 and continued working in the medium since then. His work deals with the human condition and the interactions with the world around us and some inspiration comes from work by John Stezaker and Ricahrd Hamilton.
