The man who invented Christmas

Join us in person for What if Works, in partnership with Homestead Center for the Arts and Florida International University, presents a theatrically staged, virtual reading of Les Standiford’s The Man Who Invented Christmas.
Pressured by a falling readership and facing his creditors, Charles Dickens sets out to write A Christmas Carol, a novel he is forced to self-publish but quickly becomes the iconic and cherished best seller we all know and love.
The safety of our patrons, staff and artists is our priority. In compliance with the latest guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and in an effort to limit interpersonal contact and the potential spread of COVID-19, the Seminole Theatre took the necessary steps to prepare the theatre for this performance. Social distancing will be enforced at all times, guests must wear a mask and temperatures will be taken at the door. Seating will be on a first come first serve basis. Every other row in the theatre will be skipped as well as every 3 chairs between groups.

All orders carry a transaction fee. All sales are final unless the event is cancelled, patrons would then get the choice of a refund, credit or pick a different show. All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Lap seat tickets are available for select performances. All sales are final. There are no refunds for any reason except event cancellation.
