The Seminole Theatre has partnered up with the Seminole Theatre Players to bring you an evening of discussion and entertainment!

August 21st and 22nd we'll be joined by the lead cast of the Seminole Theatre Players award-winning musical, AIDA.Hosting the discussion will be the Director of the Seminole Theatre Players,Tony Seepersad alongside professional singer and actress, Toddra Brunson; professional singer and actor, Charles Benitez; professional singer and actress, Arielle Benitez; and the Executive Director of the Seminole Theatre, Katherine Rubio.

Tune in to a panel discussion tackling issues of racism and colorism in the theatre industry and a performance of a special musical arrangement from Broadway's, AIDA. You can join this FREE cyber event on our Facebook page. During the performance the Seminole Theatre Players will be taking donations for the continued support of its community theatre program.

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
