The Friends of the Historic Seminole Theatre are proud to announce the formation of The Junior Players, a theater conservatory program providing training and performance opportunities for young people. Kids of ages 9-15 can now register for our spring production of Disney’s The Lion King Jr.

Disney’s The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world for 24 years. The African savannah comes to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki, and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle… and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale based on the classic Disney film!

In the Junior Players production, students will have the opportunity to take on one of the famous roles in the Lion King Jr. The students will rehearse every Saturday with our theatre professionals, learning acting, singing, choreography and stagecraft, and then perform the full show to the public on the Seminole Theatre mainstage.Annie Production Photo
