Congratulations to those cast in this summer's production of Hairspray.

This Memorial Day weekend, bring the whole family out to the Seminole Theatre and experience the amazing Flying Carr's Circus with their performance of "Around the World in 80 Minutes!"

The Seminole Theatre Players is calling auditions for roles in the production of Hairspray, the musical, and we want to see YOU in the show!


The Seminole Theatre is dedicated to providing an enjoyable experience by making our performances and our facilities accessible to all. It is the policy of the Seminole Theatre to comply with all of the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Below is a list of services that the Seminole Theatre can provide patrons needing assistance:

Assistance for patrons who are hard of hearing.

  • Assistive Listening Devices: The Seminole Theatre is equipped with listening devices.  Ask a staff member for a receiver at applicable performances. Patrons are welcome to bring their own earphones to use with the devices.

 

Assistance for patrons who have mobility disabilities:

  • Accessible entrances
  • Accessible restrooms

 

Parking: Accessible parking spaces are limited and may be reserved in front of the theater by calling ahead. (786-650-2073)

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
