Battle it out for control of the Seminole Theatre trainign gym.  We'll have giveaways for the current champion every half hour.

Eat at some of our great restaurants downtown and keep catching!

Make a night of it and stay for our first presentation of Sci-Fi Summer, WLRN Radio Theater presentation of War of the Worlds.  Many people have heard of Orson Welles' infamous radio broadcast  which sent the public into a frenzy before realizing it was just a rendition of HG Well's classic sci fi novel War of the Worlds.  WLRN and Arts Radio Network have partnered with the Seminole Theatre to re-produce the radio broadcast, with live actors on stage acting out the broadcast along with sound effects and audience participation.

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
