MOBILITY ACCESS
The Seminole Theatre offers barrier-free access for patrons using wheelchairs, walkers or other mobility devices. All seats on the Seminole Theatre orchestra level can be reached by elevator without the use of stairs.  Limited ADA accessible seats are also available by elevator on the balcony level.  A limited number of wheelchair and raised arm seats are available, and must be reserved when purchasing your ticket online  through the Box Office. Contact the Box Office directly for more information at (786) 650-2073.

HEARING ASSIST SYSTEMS
Infrared hearing devices are available to provide hearing amplification for patrons with hearing loss in the venue. Patrons can sit anywhere in the theater and use the headsets.  Hearing devices are available upon request the day of the performance by asking either an usher or a House Manager upon entrance.  A photo ID must be left with house management to reserve a hearing device.

We at the Seminole Theatre want you to be able to enjoy your visit to the fullest.  We strive to provide services at the theater to enhance the experience of all visitors.

When applicable and feasible, the Seminole Theatre concessions booth will be open, selling water, soft drinks and various snack foods.  During certain performances, a full bar may be available.  To confirm the availability of concessions or a bar, please call ahead 786-650-2073 to confirm.

No outside food or drink is allowed inside the Seminole Theatre.  No food is allowed inside the auditorium.  Beverages will only be allowed inside the auditorium inside closed containers or approved Seminole Theatre drink cups.

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
