Come audition for the summer season of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Mamma Mia!

March 23-25, 2019 7:00-10:00pm
Seminole Theatre
18 North Krome Avenue, Homestead, FL, US

Audtions have gone digital!

Due to the constant evolving of CDC guidelines, we are postponing live auditions for our two summer shows "Hunchback..." and "Mamma Mia" . We're still hoping to do these shows eventually when restrictions are lifted. In the meantime we would like everyone who was planning to audition live to submit a video. This will help us get off to a running start once restrictions are lifted. Here's how you can send in a video audition:

- Video: Upload an audition video of yourself to a site like youtube or vimeo and send the link to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. The subject line of the email should read "Audition Video". In the body of the email please include your name, phone number and basic availability schedule

- What should be in the video?: 16-32 bars of a song that gives us a good idea of your vocal range, personality, and highlights your strengths. If you are really wanting to be cast as a specific role in either of the shows you are free to audition with one of the character songs in the shows. Singing with some type of accompaniment is preferred provided there is no guide vocal on the track. If you don't have access to accompaniment, you may sing a cappella. If you are choosing to sing a song from either of the shows a cappella, make sure it is the original key. For any song not in the show you can choose whatever key fits your voice the best For females I am particularly interested in how high you can sing. If you can sing a "Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do" in the highest key you can sing comfortably, that will save us a little time in the process. Please say your name in the video and up to 20 seconds of any info you would like us to know about you that might affect our casting decisions before singing your song.

Audition deadline: Ongoing till further notice (We will let the public know when a deadline is established)

Actors of all races, genders, ethnicities and abilities are encouraged to audition. To view breakdown of roles click here CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
